I keep having the same conversation.
Someone who's genuinely great at what they do, and brand new to getting seen for it. That's the part nobody ever taught them.
So, an offer. Give me 30 minutes. Bring the idea you keep circling, the positioning you can't quite put into words, the page you've rewritten four times. I'll listen, tell you honestly what I think, and hand you a quick win or two and a few ideas for where to start.
It isn't a scripted discovery call, and it isn't a pitch. Think of it as a feel for what working together is actually like.
I've spent 25 years building things and figuring out the next step, mostly by learning the expensive lessons myself. Happy to save you a few of them.

Before you do, tell me: what's the one thing you'd want a second opinion on?

What did nobody teach you about going out on your own? For most it's winning clients. I got that wrong for years too, across four exits, one as a founder, three as an advisor. Book 30 free minutes, bring one question, get honest feedback: https://calendly.com/foclarity/30min…more

People ask what the catch is on the free 30 minutes. Fair question. So here's exactly how it goes.
You talk. I listen. That's most of it, honestly.
Bring one specific challenge let's spend the time on that. I'll give you honest feedback, including the parts that are hard to hear, and together we find one or two concrete moves you can make this week.
Why free? Because the best conversations tend to lead somewhere for both of us, and I genuinely like helping people. If it turns out you're a fit for my coaching program, we can talk about it, but that follows the conversation, it doesn't drive it.
You'll get the most out of it by coming prepared: a real challenge, a clear top priority, and a willingness to act on what we land on. The people who get huge value come with something specific and go do the thing we talked about.
That's it. No pitch, no catch.
So here's my genuine question... if you had thirty minutes with someone who'd just listen and give you a straight read, what's the one thing you'd want to work through?

For a month I've been sharing what I've learned about going out on your own — positioning, reputation, winning clients without feeling salesy. Here's the part that only works in a real conversation.
So I'm opening my calendar.
Book 30 minutes and ask me anything about your business. Your positioning. A stuck offer. Why the right clients aren't finding you. Whatever is actually on your mind this week.
Let me be clear about what this is and isn't.
It is not a discovery call in disguise. No pitch, no slide deck, no "and that's why you should hire me" at minute 28. You bring a real problem, I bring 25 years of building companies and a habit of finding the root fast. You walk away with a quick win or two and a clearer read on where you stand.
It's for coaches, consultants, and advisors who are brilliant at the work and building a practice of their own. The people who were never taught the client-winning part, because inside an organization the work found you and the brand vouched for you. Out here, that's the part nobody handed you a manual for.
Why free? Because a month of value earns it, and because the best way to know if we'd work well together is to actually work together for half an hour. No commitment beyond that.
Book 30 minutes with me — link in the first comment.
And if you're on the fence: what's the one question about your business you'd bring to a conversation like this?

A few weeks of teaching. One small offer today.
If you're a coach, consultant, advisor, or fractional executive building a business of your own — and something isn't moving the way it should — book 30 minutes with me and ask me anything about your business.
No pitch. No discovery interrogation. Just a working session on your hardest current question: positioning that won't sharpen, feast-or-famine months, an offer that gets compliments but never clients, a message that lands in the room and disappears online.
What you'll leave with: a clearer read on the real problem (it's usually one level below the one you brought), and one or two concrete next steps you can act on this week.
Why I do this free: it's how I'd want to evaluate an advisor myself. Watch how someone thinks before you decide anything. If it's useful, there are ways to keep working together. If the 30 minutes is all you need, that's a good outcome too.
I made this leap myself. Sold my company, built a consulting practice, learned most of these lessons at full price. The whole point of the call is that you get them cheaper.
Link to book is in the first comment. Bring your hardest question.
