The Multilingual Mind helps schools and education teams close the gap between what they know they want to do and what their people actually have the time, training, tools, systems, and support to impl
When my thinking goes quiet, I check the order of the work.
For a long time I asked myself to be accurate first and expressive second. Get the sentence right, then you may develop the idea.
But developing an idea is its own skill. Sequencing it. Holding the thread. Keeping hold of a thought when the clean phrasing will not come. None of that waits politely for tidy prose.
When accuracy is the only thing I reward in myself, the thinking stalls. Not because there is nothing to say.
So lately I have been trying a different order: narrate first, polish later.
This is how I actually use AI and text to speech in my own writing. I talk the idea out, messy and alive, and let narration read it back to me. Hearing it out loud shows me where the thinking is thin, where it repeats, and where it finally lands. Then I return to accuracy with intention, once there is something worth refining. The rough edges do not disappear. They become visible, workable, and attached to something I genuinely cared about saying.
The AI is not doing the thinking for me here. It is giving the thinking somewhere to go while it is still forming.
My current experiment: say the whole thing before I fix any of it. Let the idea finish. Notice what becomes possible when meaning comes first and polish comes second.
I wrote about this process in more depth on the blog, linked in my profile. If you use AI or narration in your own thinking, I would love to hear what it has changed for you.
