How to catch the problems that never announce themselves: go looking for the silence.
The worst bug I ever shipped didn't crash anything... it just kept trying. A channel connection expired and the app kept publishing against a dead token. Nothing alerted. From the outside it looked like the posts were going out. They weren't.
The same silence shows up in a practice. The proposal you never heard back on. The client who went quiet and you assumed was busy. Silence gets read as fine, and it almost never is.
