Day 3 at the AI Summit @ Stanford: A Strong Finish
Great final day on the Farm.
Sessions in the NVIDIA Auditorium covered real substance: the data quality problem beyond scale in frontier AI, enterprise sovereignty and ownership of intelligence, the future of AI beyond the chatbot era, building high-performing teams, ethics and governance, the infrastructure stack that powers it all, and AI's growing role in healthcare and computation-driven cures.
The evening wrapped with networking dinner in the courtyard of the Jen-Hsun Huang Engineering Center—the striking modern building that houses Stanford's engineering programs and the NVIDIA Auditorium, named in honor of NVIDIA founder Jensen Huang. Under the open sky, conversations turned thoughtful and wide-ranging: the real dangers of AI, its longer-term futures, and the hard questions still ahead. Those discussions left many of us already looking forward to what the next year will bring—and to reconvening for next year's conference.
One highlight was time spent with Summit speaker, colleague, and friend, Sungwon Lim, Co-Founder & CEO of ImpriMed (Pictured below). A Stanford Bioengineering PhD, he is building AI-powered precision medicine that uses live-cell testing and machine learning to predict which cancer drugs will work best for individual patients—starting in veterinary oncology and expanding toward human applications.
Grateful for three strong days of ideas, connections, and energy. Stanford continues to be a powerful catalyst for innovation and ideation.
